Malaysia (17/05) Leaders, lecturers and staff of the Faculty
of Economics and Islamic Business UIN Alauddin Makassar visited the Institute
of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS) Universitas Kebangsaan Malaysia
on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 to follow up on the signing of the MoU and share
information to support the development of the faculty of Islamic Economics and
Business UIN Aluddin Makassar.
This visit was attended by the dean of the Faculty of
Economics and Islamic business, Prof. Abustani Ilyas, M.Ag, vice dean, and
representatives of each department of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic
business from the Management department represented by the head of the department
Management, Dr. Rika Dwi Ayu Parmitasari, M.Comm., and lecturers and quality
assurance team from the Department of Management, Eka Suhartini, S.E., M.M., Rusnawati,
S.E., M.M. Eka Indriyani M.S., S.E., M.M., and Miftha Farild, S.E., M.M., and from
the and Wahyudi, A.Md., S.E., M.M., as well as representatives from the
Department of Accounting, Department of Islamic Economics, Department of
Islamic Banking and Department of Economics. Representatives of Universitas
Kebangsaan Malaysia were attended by the director of IKMAS Universitas
Kebangsaan Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Sufian Jusoh, deputy director, Prof. Dr. Tamat
Sarmidi, and Prof. Dr. Mohd Kamarulnizam Bin Abdullah who warmly welcomed the
arrival of lecturers and staff from FEBI UIN Alauddin Makassar. was opened by
the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Prof. Dr. Abustani
Ilyas, M.Ag who explained that this visit was carried out as a form of FEBI's
seriousness in collaborating with IKMAS UKM to improve the quality of lecturers
and students at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business in the future,
where in the future FEBI students who are included in Merdeka Belajar Kampus
Merdeka (MBKM) are expected to be able to carry out the MBKM program at the
University Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Director of IKMAS, Prof. Dr. Sufian Jusoh said that this
collaboration will help the two universities to develop each other starting
from improving journals, becoming speakers for international conferences that
will be held by FEBI UIN Alauddin Makassar. If there are journal managers who
want to improve their accreditation, they can be helped to provide advice from
reviewers from SMEs to improve the quality of journals at the faculty of
economics and Islamic business UIN Alauddin Makassar. In addition, Prof. Dr.
Tamat Sarmidi also said that FEBI UIN Alauddin Makassar alumni could continue
at the University Kebangsaan Malaysia for S2 and S3 programs by taking
scholarships from Balai Internasional for the Malaysia International
Scholarship program.
The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program that will be
implemented by FEBI UIN Alauddin Makassar students can be implemented by
participating in the exchange program, said Prof. Dr. Mohd Kamarulnizam Bin
Abdullah.
This activity is proof of the seriousness of the Faculty of
Economics and Islamic Business in collaborating with IKMAS Universitas
Kebangsaan Masyarakat for quality and quality improvement.
